Tinsley Mortimer Reveals Exciting Details About Her Wedding Dress
The Real Housewives of New York City alum knows exactly who she'll turn to for a custom wedding gown.
Tinsley Mortimer is getting ready for her big day. In a recent interview, The Real Housewives of New York City alum, who is preparing to marry Scott Kluth, recently revealed a few details about her wedding style — including her dream high-fashion designer for a glamorous bridal gown.
In the interview with Us Weekly, Coupon Cabin's newest editorial director of style and beauty opened up about her vision for her walk down the aisle. Though she is still working on details, one thing's clear: Tinsley knows exactly who she wants to create her epic dress — designer Monique Lhuillier.
"I love Monique Lhuillier dresses for their femininity," she explained, "I even believe she will be my choice for my wedding and I will have her design one especially for me."
Tinsley has turned to the glamorous designer on more than one occasion for show-stopping looks. For her most recent appearance at the RHONY reunion, Tinsley wore a dramatic, princess-inspired, black frock with glittering embellishments created by Lhuillier.
"I am happiest when I am totally glammed with hair, makeup, and a beautiful dress," she continued in the interview. It turns out, her fashion sense may be a family affair given that she credits much of her flare for design to her Southern upbringing. "In the south, presenting yourself dressed nicely and fully groomed is considered good manners,” she added. “Never in my life did I see my mother leave the house without her hair perfect, makeup on and dressed beautifully, whether for a tennis game, a club lunch or a meeting with a design client.”
