Sonja Morgan Explains Why She Looks So Different in Her Recent Photo
The Real Housewives of New York City cast member revealed why she looks "puffy" in a recent snap that caused a stir.
When Sonja Morgan shared a certain selfie on Instagram in early July, Andy Cohen couldn't help but take note of her seemingly altered appearance. And when The Real Housewives of New York City cast member appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on July 9, the talk-show host went so far as to salute the snap in his esteemed closing segment.
As he showed the photo, Andy said: "It's time for tonight's Moment of Mazel. It goes to a picture that Sonja posted while we were on break. We're still not over it. I'm of course talking about the debut of Sonja's refreshed face. Because if a Housewife gets a new face and we don't Mazel it, did it even happen?"
Andy when on to question Sonja about what, exactly, was going on in the now iconic pic. "Is that airbrushing there?" Andy asked. Sonja broke it down:
"That day I spoke to my assistant. I go: What's going on? And we had to throw out a bunch of processed snacks I was eating that were very high in sodium. You see how puffy I am in that picture?" Then, she added: "And I do use all those apps."
Andy summed it up in about four words: "Oh, OK, so it's Face App'd!" he said. Then, laughing, he had to bail out salty snacks: "It wasn't the processed foods." See more from Sonja's WWHL appearance in the clip above, and check out the pic in question, below:
