While it's safe to assume The Real Housewives of New York City reunion was filled with tension, the cast members had the most serene backdrop to let the drama unfold.

How to Watch

Luann de Lesseps, who referred to the day as the "best reunion yet," shared a peek at the incredible filming location on August 5. The indoor space boasted several cozy seating areas, a stunning gray fireplace, and multiple shelves lined with books and accent décor. As Luann recorded a video of the venue, which was flooded with natural light thanks to towering windows, she noted that the property was "gorgeous."

Luann, who filmed alongside her castmates Ramona Singer, Leah McSweeney, Sonja Morgan, Dorinda Medley and Tinsley Mortimer, also took a moment to explore the expansive outdoor area featuring lush greenery, charming gravel paths, and an eye-catching square pond.

Up until this point, all reunions in 2020 were filmed remotely due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. On a July Radio Andy show, Andy Cohen shared details of the safety precautions being taken for the taping. "There are a lot of protocols. Everybody has to get tested [for COVID-19]. There's very few crew; there's very few people allowed," he said. "We’re all six feet apart. I don't think raising voices is going to be a concern...with that group. Hopefully this is gonna go well,"

"It's not an outdoor venue," he continued. "But it is definitely a spaced-out venue."

On the day of filming, Andy snapped a selfie in front of what appeared to be a lit up "NYC" sign. "About to shoot our IN PERSON RHONY Reunion!! Putting on a suit and tie never felt so good," he wrote in an Instagram post. "Gonna be a great day!

"This reunion is unlike anything we've ever done before. I wish you could see the setup. You'll see it soon enough," he continued in an Instagram Story. "All protocols being observed. Masks at the ready. Hand sanitizer next to my apple."
