Go Inside Erin Lichy's "Beautiful" — and Definitely Not Boring — Anniversary Party Spot
Native New Yorkers Erin and Abe Lichy turned to a “beautiful piece of history in New York City” to celebrate their 10-year anniversary.
Celebrating a decade of marriage calls for a party — and The Real Housewives of New York City’s real estate guru Erin Lichy found just the spot for some sophisticated fun.
Drenched in expensive (borrowed) diamonds, Erin and her attorney hubby, Abe, celebrated their decade of wedded bliss with an upscale party at Hall des Lumières that left Erin “speechless.”
“This party is everything I could have expected,” she gushed. “Everyone is so excited, so happy for us and it’s just a really, really beautiful special night.”
Where was Erin Lichy's anniversary party?
To celebrate the marital milestone, Erin and Abe turned one of the city’s newest venues, Hall des Lumières, which is the perfect mix of old meets new.

The building — which was built between 1909 and 1912 — was once the home of the Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank with its tall ceilings, marble and even old-school teller windows, according to the NYC Landmark Preservation Commission.
The landmark-designated Beaux-Arts building was designed by architect Raymond F. Almirall, who drew his architecture style at the time from Paris, according to City Signal. The Beaux-Arts style was a fixture of the Gilded Age and relied on grandiose and ornate features which signified wealth and status.
As The New York Times once noted, the building became the first H-shaped skyscraper in the city.
The building, at 49 Chambers Street, was reimagined in September as the Hall des Lumières, a “multi-sensory” art experience that uses video canvases to reflect on the building’s walls and stunning architectural elements.
“As a monumental permanent exhibition, the space features 130 video projectors, 54 speakers and 22 subwoofers that create a spatialized sound system, and cutting-edge mapping technology designed to stimulate your senses by reimagining the revolutionary art of celebrated artists,” its website boasts.
The digital art center was created by the same creator of Paris’ “Atelier Des Lumières.”

“What we really go for, is trying to reach the deep emotions of people,” Gregoire Monnier, the director of Culturespaces, an organization that helps run the space, told The New York Times in May.
Erin’s guests could take in a romantic vibe created in the space using candles, a large stunning white flower arrangement, glassware, and touches of blush.
“It is beautiful and also the venue is so special,” Erin said of using the “beautiful piece of history in New York City” to showcase the life-long she and Abe have one for another.
The venue even earned rave reviews from her fellow Housewives (although they seemed less than thrilled with the night’s lengthy speeches).
“This is beautiful,” Sai De Silva told Erin after arriving. “It is so pretty.”
Brynn Whitfield quickly picked up on the building’s historical past, commenting that it felt like a bank or a courtroom.
“My two favorite places,” she joked.
As the night wore on and Brynn admittedly got “bored,” her love for the spot appeared to wane.
“This place feels like Bank of America holiday party meets a charity gala meets a bar mitzvah,” she told Jessel Taank.
Brynn’s quips aside, for Erin, it was a night to remember.
