The Real Housewives of New York City cast members are "preparing for battle" with water-bottle weights, under-eye patches, and more.
We can only imagine what will go down at The Real Housewives of New York City Season 12 reunion. But while we wait to see exactly what unfolds on those couches, we know one thing for sure: Luann de Lesseps will be in fighting form — and there won't be an under-eye circle in sight. As the RHONY ladies prep for their in-person sit-down, they're sharing a behind-the-scenes look at how they're getting ready.
Just before the taping, Luann took to Instagram to share how she's getting in shape for the showdown. Looking fit as a fiddle — or, shall we say, chiseled as a countess — the cabaret star wore a black sports bra and matching leggings. And while her dog Aston took a little snooze in the background, Lu was up and at 'em.
Using water bottles as weights, the fitness buff wore a down-to-business expression as she whipped her triceps and biceps into submission. "Prepping for battle," she quipped in her caption, adding a one-word hashtag that explained it all: reunion.
In the comments, Jill Zarin put in a suggestion for how Lu can jazz up her routine, Housewives-style. "Watch [Lisa Rinna's workout] video?" the RHONY alum wrote. But in the meantime, Luann has gifted us with a little fitness inspiration of her own:
Then, with reunion day officially upon them, the other 'Wives began their getting-ready process. But first, coffee. Leah McSweeney took to Instagram Stories on August 5 to show a Starbucks iced coffee in her manicured clutches. Her nails were painted in bubblegum pink and studded with jewels.
By 6:03 a.m., the Married to the Mob designer was ready for some styling. Her blonde hair was piled on top of her head in rollers, and her under-eye patches were in place.
"Gooooood morning," Sonja Morgan announced on Instagram Stories, just before the taping. Panning across her face, the designer announced: "I'm about to put my lashes on." Here comes the punchline: "How many lashes will I take at the reunion?" she mused.
In the next snaps, Sonja showed herself with lashes intact — as well as a side-swept hairstyle, eye-popping jewels, and a bronzed beauty look.
Ramona Singer also shared a Story from the makeup chair. Pointing to her own under-eye patches, the Ageless by Ramona founder said: "I normally don't have puffy eyes, but this is just to make sure I have completely beautiful eyes ... I can't believe we're finally doing a live reunion."
