Here's How Ramona Reacted to Leah McSweeney's Mesh Reunion Look

Leah McSweeney warned us and Leah McSweeney delivered: The Real Housewives of New York City newcomer gave us the heads up back in July that she would be showing up to the RHONY reunion "half nude." The fashion designer has never been one to shy away from scandalous style — especially of the sheer variety — much to the chagrin of her fellow castmate Ramona Singer. So when fans spotted her sultry, see-through outfit on Instagram, questions about Ramona's reaction were inevitable. Now, Leah is sharing exactly what Ramona made of her epic look. 

When we first saw Leah's debut reunion look, our jaws officially dropped. For the occasion, Leah wore a black, sheer, high-waisted maxi skirt with an uber high thigh slit. The skirt was paired with coordinating sheer gloves and — wait for it — face mask. The Saga NYC look was nothing short of epic, especially when coupled with loads of diamonds. 

Sexy, sheer outfits are nothing new for Leah given her history with tulle bucket hats and lightly-veiled floral bodysuits — all of which are not exactly Ramona-approved. But in an interview with PEOPLE, Leah explained that Ramona was surprisingly supportive of her see-through fashion choice for the reunion.

"Little do people know, they think that the black mesh is some kind of 'get back at Ramona thing,' but I love black mesh," she explained to PEOPLE. "She said it looked great," McSweeney continued. 

And Leah was happy to return the complIment. "And I'm going to say this because all the people are in my comments like, 'Ramona must have died when she saw this.' But Ramona looked amazing. No matter what my complaints are about her, I'm never taking that away from her. She looked really good."
