Luann de Lesseps Has Separate Closet Just for Cabaret Dresses: See Inside
"There's a real mix of fabulosity in this closet," said the RHONY singer.
Luann de Lesseps has so many Jovani dresses that she has to keep them in a closet of their own, totally separate from her regular, everyday clothes. The Real Housewives of New York City cast member recently shared a tour of both of her wardrobes exclusively with BravoTV.com. To see all of the fabulous pieces she wears regularly, as well as a few numbers that are still new with tags, check out the video above.
The cabaret star kicked off the tour with a look at her daily closet, which is full of incredible shoes and sparkly pieces, as well as the kinds of more casual clothes she wears more frequently.
“This closet is full of things that I wore all season, and this is my favorite, favorite new piece,” she explained, pulling out a chic red jacket that she said will make plenty of appearances in Season 12. “Everybody has their favorite one piece of the season, and this has been mine.”
After showing her impressive stacks of jeans, scarves, and blouses, Luann decided to spice things up.
“I think I’m going to show you my cabaret closet, because that’s really interesting,” she said. “”Do you guys want to see where all of the dresses are?”
Luann revealed that she was inspired to use the uniquely shaped closet solely for cabaret wear, because it was a challenge to fit much in there, otherwise.
“This closet was impossible to put anything, because there’s very little hanging space, so I had the idea of doing these three-hook kind of fixtures in here,” Luann explained. “On the wall, I’ve done all of these hooks so I can hang many, many dresses, which is genius.”
The “Viva La Diva” songstress said the design hack has given her the storage space to hang about 50 dresses in the closet. To optimize space, she hangs shorter dresses on the lower hooks.
“I’ve got a real mix of fabulosity in this closet,” said Luann.
