See Luann de Lesseps Recreate Her "Be Cool" Look

Luann de Lesseps sure knows how to turn a moment into something iconic. From “Feelin’ Jovani” to the instantly epic “good night from the lower level,” The Real Housewives of New York City cast member has lots of unforgettable one-liners. Almost as unforgettable? The outfits she wears during them. Luann recently posted a photo while she was whipping up some delicious Sunday brunch, and a few eagle-eyed fans noticed that she had coincidentally recreated her “Be cool. Don’t be all like, uncool” look. 

“Sunday brunch. Guess what I’m making?” Luann captioned a July 12 Instagram post of herself standing at the stove in her kitchen.

Luann’s question sparked plenty of theories from her followers, including one who guessed she might be making her famous “Eggs a la Francaise.” Luann simply replied with a kiss face emoji, so it’s possible that her signature dish was on the menu for brunch. 

While some tried to figure out what Luann was making with eggs, tomatoes, pesto and basil, others pointed out her sunglasses. “The breakfast sunglasses are back!” wrote one follower, to which Luann replied, “They never left.” Another person asked, “Are these the same sunglasses from the ‘don’t be all uncool’ scene? Lol. Iconic,” but Luann responded, “My secret.” 

When revisiting the Season 7 moment in which Luann told RHONY alum Heather Thomson to “be cool” after it was revealed that a strange man had slept in the house the ladies were staying at in Turks and Caicos (which you can check out above), it appears that Luann actually is wearing a larger pair of sunglasses with a lighter frame than she is in her recent Sunday brunch photo. Her robe, however, is definitely the same one, so this outfit is definitely still considered a very cool nod to the original look.
