When we found out that Sonja Morgan and Luann de Lesseps would be walking the runway together at New York Fashion Week, the countdown (the countess-down?) was on. We couldn't wait to see what The Real Housewives of New York City pals would wear for their high-profile modeling gig, especially considering that their walk down the runway would make history.
You see, the show that Sonja and Luann modeled in — the Blue Jacket Fashion Show — has traditionally only cast male models. This makes the RHONY pals the first women ever to strut their stuff on the Blue Jacket runway. So the stakes were high, but we knew these two legends would deliver.
Well, it looks like our will-they-slay meter is working correctly! We just peeped the lewks the two ladies pulled off, and we're slow-clapping at our desks.
Luann looked like a modern-day gladiator queen in an off-the-shoulder black dress with furry embellishments. She also rocked strappy sandals and a leather obi belt. Meanwhile, Sonja went with ladylike nautical style in a lacy, blue-and-white striped jacket.
