Dorinda Medley Proudly Announces She Didn't Shave All Summer and We're So Here for It
The Real Housewives of New York City beauty doesn't take her razor to the Berkshires.
We already thought summering at Dorinda Medley's Berkshires vacation home Blue Stone Manor sounded ideal. What's not to love? There's the verdant grounds that are right out of a 19th century novel. Dorinda will make it nice and even book yoga classes for you apparently. And, you can hang out in a mermaid tail in the pool.
Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, The Real Housewives of New York City hostess revealed that razors are totally optional at Blue Stone Manor and we are here for that. Speaking to Page Six at a Christie’s runway show this week, Dorinda shared, “I just got back from the Berkshires. My legs are the first thing I shave — I let it all hang out at the Berkshires.”
Shaving was not on Dorinda's list of things to do this summer, and in fact, New York Fashion Week is the only thing that inspired her to do it. “Today is my first day of entering back into the real world. I had social anxiety about getting dressed up tonight... I don’t think I shaved until yesterday,” she joked.
While Dorinda's all #hairdontcare on her downtime, she's going to leave flaunting armpit hair to millennials.
“One of my worst nightmares is to be photographed with a hairy leg or armpit. Personal grooming is very important. It is very millennial now to let it all hang out, but I disagree," she said. “That’s just not my style. I think if you grew up like I did in the ’60s, it’s just what you started learning at 14. I’m too old to change at this point.”
