There must be something in the air. From coast to coast, Bravo personalities are busting out their brightest spandex and sliding on sweatbands to pay homage to '80s style. But which coast does it best? Let's explore.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New York City on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo app.

Representing East-Coast '80s, The Real Housewives of New York City crew got dressed up in vintage-inspired aerobics gear on December 12. Luann de Lesseps shared a totally rad photo on Instagram, which showed herself, Dorinda Medley, Bethenny Frankel, and Sonja Morgan like you've never seen them before.

Keep scrolling to see Bethenny's skintight silver jumpsuit, Dorinda's metallic pants, and Luann's leotard. Also, note Sonja's mashup of neon hues. Bitchin'!

The ladies' looks are tough to beat! But as we saw on a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules, the West Hollywood crew knows how to throw it back, too. (Peep the clip above to see a quick refresher.) All of the SURvers brought their '80s game for L.A. Pride 2018, from Ariana Madix's rainbow-bright suspenders and socks to Lala Kent's silver leotard, Katie Maloney-Schwartz's high ponytail, and Scheana Shay's neon-pink accessories.

Well, it's tough to reach a verdict here. So, we're going to give honorable mentions to '80s style on both coasts. We have to hand it to the California crew: They do bold colors like nobody's biz. And as for the New Yorkers, they know how to coordinate a group look. Hmm, maybe we should call on '80s-obsessed Kyle Richards to help us settle the score?
