Bethenny Frankel's Customized Birkin Bag Is Ripped from the Headlines
The Real Housewives of New York City businesswoman's tabloid-covered designer bag is a work of art.
Bethenny Frankel's Hermès Birkin bag was already pricey, but now it's priceless. The Real Housewives of New York City entrepreneur definitely runs in circles with a lot of women carrying Birkins, but none of them have a bag quite like this. Bethenny enlisted acclaimed artist Peter Tunney to create a one-of-a-kind work incorporating her Birkin, which is now covered with collaged New York Post headlines and the word "Love" on one side and "Life" on the other.
"Love is in the air," Bethenny wrote in the caption of a slideshow of her new bag, adding the hashtags "Choose Love" and "Love Yourself."
Tunney said on Bethenny's Instagram story that it took a week of coating to complete "this very tricky little bag" as he showed off the finished product.
That's not the only bag Bethenny's been wearing with a "love"-ly message. She stepped out this week with a purple velvet Gucci Marmont bag emblazoned with the word "Loved."
This actually reminds us of another Birkin bag owned by Bethenny's longtime friend Kyle Richards: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fashionista carries a customized Birkin of her own.
