The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom helped her daughter shop for a big school event, and she captured the outing in a sweet video.
When Melissa Gorga shared a March 13 TikTok video of her daughter, Antonia Gorga, shopping for prom dresses, she chose the sweetest song to score it. Taylor Swift’s “Never Grow Up” plays in the background of the video, which shows Antonia growing up nonetheless. The Real Housewives of New Jersey teen is headed to her senior prom!
In Melissa’s video, the mother-daughter duo kicks off their shopping trip with a stop at Starbucks. Duly energized by coffee and a pink drink, the two hit the racks. They browsed through dresses in purple satin, sparkling blue, and beaded red before choosing a few looks for Antonia to try on. Naturally, Antonia looked stunning in each style. (What can we say? She has her mama’s flair for fashion.)
The high school senior posed in a silky mermaid-style dress in an aqua hue. She also modeled a hot pink sweep-train dress and a one-shouldered style in a shimmering shade of sky blue. Another option, made of emerald silk, had an elegant train. Yet another stunning dress had a low back decorated with sparkling embroidery. The beauty of it all was enough to make Antonia’s grandma cry.
Melissa’s video offered a peek at her mom, Donna Marco, who had come along for the ride. Dabbing her eyes while seated in the dressing room, Donna beamed through her tears. “She’s growing up,” Melissa conceded in her TikTok caption.
That’s right: The little girl Bravo viewers once knew has morphed into a confident young woman. And she’s a woman who can rock sophisticated evening gowns with the best of them.
While we wait to see which dress Antonia wears to prom this year, let’s revisit her selection for her junior prom.
In 2022, Antonia hit her prom in a white iridescent minidress that glittered with sequins. The look had a square neckline and spaghetti straps. The teen paired her glittering dress with tan ankle-strap heels and a dainty gold necklace and bracelet.
She also had a gorgeous beauty look, courtesy of a prom-day glam squad. Her makeup, courtesy of Brielle Pollara, included shimmering eyeshadow, fluttering lashes, and black eyeliner. Her cheeks were dusted with warm bronzer and rosy blush, and her pout was coated in baby pink lipstick and gloss. To top it off, Antonia’s hair was parted down the middle and styled into long, loose waves by Jen Korab.
Last year’s look will be hard to beat. But we have a feeling Antonia’s senior prom look will not disappoint!
