Margaret Josephs Confirms She’s Finally Renovating Her New Jersey Home
The Real Housewives of New Jersey fashion designer is making some changes to her longtime home.
It’s official: Margaret Josephs is once again improving her home. As viewers have witnessed since the fashion designer joined The Real Housewives of New Jersey back in season eight, Margaret’s house is perpetually in flux… and under construction. Back in 2018, Margaret told BravoTV.com, “Ask me if it’s done — it’s not. It’s not even close to done, I’m still living in my closet. And when you’re sleeping with the contractor and you’re the girlfriend, you get a lot done. When you’re married to the contractor you get s--t done."
That’s right, despite being married to contractor Joe Benigno, Margaret’s husband wouldn't allow her to hire an outside contractor — hence the delay! But according to Margaret, all that’s officially changing. “The good news is we’re finally renovating the house,” Margaret recently told Us Weekly. “Everybody always asks, so I’ve been heavily working on my house and just relaxing and enjoying my insane season before I go back to another season. I’ve lived in a s–t show for a few years, so obviously I don’t feel pressure.”
As for the aesthetic we can expect from the renovated spaces, Marge promises that she’ll stay true to herself through the design process “But I have a different style than a lot of the other ladies so I feel like people will be very happy. It’ll be very Marge,” she said, adding, it will be “colorful and sophisticated in a Royal Tenenbaums way.”
