Margaret and Rachel Wore Sweet and Colorful Looks to a Charity Luncheon (PICS )
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members dressed in style for the "perfect afternoon" benefitting cancer research.
Margaret Josephs and Rachel Fuda made a colorful splash in NYC.
On Thursday afternoon (June 8), The Real Housewives of New Jersey castmates attended a special luncheon hosted by City of Hope, a non-profit clinical research center that focuses on cancer treatment. While such an event can often lead to fashion dilemmas and second-guessing, the Jersey ladies managed to find the sweet spot between dressy and casual daytime attire.
Margaret stuns in a bright knit set
Margaret hit the red carpet in a colorful knitted ensemble by A.L.C., a womenswear brand created by Andrea Lieberman. The Wife donned a scoop-neck tank with a Sedona-like print in warm colors, including blush pink, terra cotta, marigold, and pale orange. She paired the top with a matching crochet midi skirt, which featured an asymmetric fishtail hem that showed off her white open-toed heels with gold hardware. Margaret completed the look with gold earrings and a gold ring, as well as a bronzed, dewy makeup look and her signature blunt lob. (No pigtails for this event!) She capped it off with a white pedicure.
Rachel blooms in a ruffle floral dress
Rachel, on the other hand, opted for a much more traditional springtime outfit. The working mom showed up to the luncheon in a pretty sleeveless white dress with a light blue floral pattern. The slim-fitting piece had stacked ruffle detailing down the skirt, as well as ruffles on the shoulder straps and around the sweetheart neckline. Rachel accessorized the dress with a couple of sleek bracelets, a pair of drop earrings, and white slide heels with a tonal bow on the toe strap.
Rachel also stepped out in a fresh-faced and glowing beauty look. And for a little extra pep, she got a bubblegum-pink pedicure. Both gala-goers wore mile-long lashes.

The RHONJ castmates posted a few photos from the luncheon, which was hosted at the Plaza Hotel. Attendees included actress Candice Bergen, The Today Show’s health expert Joy Bauer, and fashion designer Ramy Brook. The event also included the presentation of the Spirit of Life Award, a prestigious honor that recognizes individuals’ humanitarian work. Thursday’s award recipients were actress/cancer survivor Jane Fonda and Delta Air Lines executive Gail Grimmett, whose husband died after a years-long battle with multiple myeloma.
Rachel posted footage of her and Margaret on the red carpet, a shot of the beautiful table settings, and a clip of Jane’s acceptance speech.
Margaret also documented the event on her Instagram: “The most perfect afternoon at the [City of Hope] Spirit of Life Awards honoring [Jane Fonda] and [Gail Grimmett],” she captioned a post, “giving hope and getting closer to a cure for cancer.”
RHONJ Season 13 reunion looks
Speaking of RHONJ fashion, the reunion looks for Season 13 are next-level dramatic. For the epic sit-down, Rachel and Margaret wore decidedly different looks than the ones they pulled out for their sweet afternoon event at the Plaza.
Rachel hit the reunion stage in a draped satin dress. In a jewel-toned shade of yellow, the dress had a dramatic bow on one shoulder and a glittering, bejeweled belt.
Meanwhile, Margaret opted for an elegant royal-blue dress with a sheer bustier top and a flowing, ruffled skirt.
