Kathy Wakile Unveils a Stunning New Hair Color for Fall: "Give Me a Change"

Autumn is well on its way, which means all things spooky and pumpkin-flavored are soon to follow. Perhaps the most underrated thing about fall (which is the season of change, after all), is how great it feels to switch up your hair at the beginning of the season when you need something new. Kathy Wakile’s latest ‘do is proof that this is the absolute best time of year to change your hair color. 

In a September 1 Instagram post, The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum’s hairstylist, Julius Michael, revealed her brand new look. “She said it’s time for a change,” he captioned the post, adding, “I gave Kathy Wakile a deep rich chocolate brown base, using [L’Oreal Pro] Majirel and finished with a super shiny gloss and toner from [Redken] Shades EQ.” 

Michael also explained that Kathy’s gorgeous new multidimensional look features some balayage babylights and highlights that are from two years ago. 

“This sexy gorgeous hair color was completed with a hot haircut by @ortizarty and a sexy hair blowout at @juliusmichaelsalon,” he wrote. 

Kathy commented on the post to thank her stylist for his incredible work, writing, “It always amazes me how you know exactly what I’m thinking when I ask for a change. ‘Give me a change but make it still ME.’ Love you.” 

Heading to Julius Michael Salon for a fall color refresh seems to be somewhat of a tradition for Kathy, who also visited last October. Last year’s look was inspired by “cinnamon spice indulgence for autumn.”
