Joe Gorga Is Flipping a Former Dentist’s Office He Bought for $500K
The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband is sharing a look into his latest real estate investment.
No rest for the weary! Despite having just returned from a totally luxe weekend in Miami for the Super Bowl and partying at the New York Fashion Week kickoff with his wife, Melissa Gorga, Joe Gorga has been hard at work each and every day this week. Whether he’s overseeing a home’s construction or checking in on newly-purchased fixer uppers, The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband perpetually embodies his "Grow with Gorga" mantra.
“I’m at one of the flips and it’s raining, and all the subs are calling and are like, ‘Listen, we’re not working.’ Does life stop because it’s raining? Does the bank say to you, 'Listen, don’t pay your mortgage because it’s raining? Don’t pay your car payment because it was raining today? Don’t pay your rent?' No, it doesn’t happen!” Joe explained this week, while standing on a rooftop in the rain. “So, I said to these guys, 'Guys, I run a business, you gave me a price, come work, make some money, get the next job done, come feed your family, be men!’ And where are they? They’re all working! Grow with Gorga, baby!”
Clearly hard work is Joe’s passion, which fuels his success in real estate — he’s already made $2M this year alone!
And he's not done yet: The perpetual home flipper was touring his latest purchase this week and gave his Instagram followers a tour of a former dental office located within a residential home in a ritzy New Jersey town. “So, I got another deal here, we locked this one up, this is a great town, locked it up for $500,000,” he said while giving his followers a look at the home’s neighborhood and interiors.
“Look at this, the guy used to be a dentist — chair comes with it. Got a great deal. But look, this is what ya gotta look for: Beautiful, nice houses, these houses all go for like $1 million to $1.2 million, perfect neighborhood, so we paid $500,000 for this deal.”
While the house’s current state is shabby (and a bit creepy, if we’re being honest!), as Joe pointed out, the size of the property in combination with the town’s status makes it a great investment. “Big open floor plan, [I’m going to] knock everything out, open those walls up and you got a great deal,” he explained. “Big, big, big house."
We agree and can’t wait to see the finished product, Joe!
Until then, tune in to RHONJ on Tuesdays at 8/7c!
