Frank Catania Transformed His Smile with Porcelain Veneers: See Before & After Photos
“Holy s--t… this is wild,” the RHONJ dad declared after seeing his new teeth.
Frank Catania just got a brand-new set of pearly whites, and he can’t stop smiling.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey dad took to Instagram on March 16 to share his journey with Smile Texas in Houston (where RHONJ’s Rachel Fuda also had her teeth done), first revealing a few behind-the-scenes details in an Instagram Story with several staff members who helped him in the process of getting porcelain veneers.
According to the practice’s website, dental veneers are “thin shells of porcelain bonded to the front of the tooth” that help to “correct stained, spaced, chipped, or crooked teeth.” The practice promises to achieve a “bright, straight, natural-looking smile” in two visits (ostensibly illustrated in Frank’s Story, which revealed he was back with the dental assistants for “part 2” of his smile transformation).
Following his visit, the practice was sure to document the final result, sharing an Instagram video of Frank seeing his teeth for the first time since the second half of the procedure.
Surprised and delighted, Frank gushes, “Oh my god! I love ’em […] I have never in my life looked at my teeth and said, ‘Wow.’”
He added: “Holy s--t… I love the color — this is wild! This is gonna take a while to get used to […] I absolutely love ’em, there is not one regret I have.”
Smile Texas went on to share an additional set of photos of Frank’s before-and-after transformation, showing two different angles and a close-up of his teeth detailing the dramatic change.
“We had to bring the RHONJ [Frank Catania] to Texas to give him the smile he’s always wanted because you know what they say, everything is better in Texas!” the practice captioned the series of photos.
Perhaps Frank received a little bit of encouragement from his ex-wife, Dolores Catania, who debuted her own newly straightened, bright white smile during the Season 10 reunion back in 2020.
In an Instagram video at the time, Dolores revealed that the biggest thing she’d done to get ready for the reunion was visit Dr. Apa, also sharing a clip from her appointment with the celebrity dentist.
“When I was looking at pictures of myself laughing or talking or smiling, I noticed that my teeth protruded out of my mouth. They were way too big for my mouth, and they were uneven to a certain extent,” Dolores told the doctor, explaining why she had initially come in. Dr. Apa then showed before-and-after photos of his patient’s smile, explaining that everything in her mouth is now “tucked in.”
