Frank Catania Says This Family Member Is "Very Protective" of His Girlfriend on Season 13
The RHONJ dad teased what's to come for his family on RHONJ's upcoming season at BravoCon 2022.
Get ready to see Dolores Catania's "Patterson Dolores" persona come out on The Real Housewives of New Jersey this season — but not in the way you might think. At BravoCon 2022, Frank Catania revealed how the RHONJ 'Wife and their kids, Frankie and Gabby, really get along with his girlfriend, Brittany, sharing a surprising detail about his ex-wife.
"I gotta be honest with you, not only does my girlfriend get along with my kids, but coming up this season, you'll see, honestly, my darling ex-wife is very protective of my girlfriend as well," Frank shared on BravoTV.com’s digital interview stage on Saturday, October 15. "She's good, she's good. I've been with my girlfriend three years; Dolores has known her for about 10 years. So, yeah, she knows her well."
Of course, this is only the latest evidence of just how amicable the exes truly are. Case in point: When Brittany celebrated her birthday last month, Dolores sent her a sweet compliment in a social media birthday tribute. “Happy birthday beautiful,” Dolores captioned the September 7 Instagram Stories photo of Frank and Brittany taken at her charity softball game.
In an August interview with Page Six, Frank further described his and Dolores' daughter, Gabby, as being the “harshest critic” of his dating choices. So, naturally, he was pleased when she gave her stamp of approval. “Gabby says, ‘How do you not like Brittany? You can’t help but like Brittany!’ It’s not only my daughter; it’s the entire family,” he told the outlet. “And Dolores too!”
Fans previously got a hint at exactly where Frank’s romantic relationship was headed when he brought Brittany as his plus-one to a May appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. After Andy said it was “very exciting” that his girlfriend was with him, Frank replied, “You know it’s serious then.”
It certainly can't hurt that she clicks perfectly with the Catanias' modern family either.
