Here's Why Dolores Catania Was Wearing a Wedding Dress at the Jersey Shore

From feeling herself in a sizzling hot mini dress to staying honest when dishing on the cosmetic procedures she’s undergone, Dolores Catania always keeps it real. So it was no surprise that The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member had something super relatable up her sleeve (well, technically her intricately embellished skirt and train) when she modeled in a recent photo shoot at the Jersey Shore.
Posed alongside the water in an incredibly lavish white gown with a dramatic, dazzling overskirt, Dolores looked like she was set to walk down a wedding aisle as she served up all of her best angles. But she’s not saying “I do” just yet; in the video, she shared in a March 15 Instagram post, Dolores explained why she was wearing a bridal gown, noting, “It’s just a master class. It’s a modeling session” before she playfully added, “You never know. Never say never.”
Dolores looked so gorgeous with her voluminous wavy hair and detailed white gown, that even she was shocked when she saw the end result halfway through the shoot. “This dress is stunning. I love it,” she said in the video, even reacting with “Oh wow!” when she caught the first glimpse at herself.
In the clip, Dolores noted that the magical white number is from a Garden State bridal boutique called Memories Bridal by Reema. She also gave a special shoutout to someone RHONJ viewers will definitely remember. “I want to show you my earrings from Jennifer Aydin’s brother,” she explained, showing off the breathtaking drop earrings. “They’re from Turkey.”
So what kind of surprise did Dolores have, besides the fact she was in a wedding dress without an engagement ring? During the video, she revealed that the look wasn’t exactly glamorous from head to toe. “Guys, you wouldn’t know, I have sneakers on underneath,” she said. “She literally has sneakers with fuzzy socks. It’s really cute,” added a voice from behind the camera.
