As Gia Giudice Preps Her College Dorm, Teresa Is "Happy" She'll Be Close to Home
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom is already helping her daughter Gia pick out her dorm room essentials.
It’s hard to imagine that Gia Guidice is old enough to be heading to college, but that’s just what’s happening in a few short weeks. While we’ve all watched The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter since she was a little girl on TV, the all-grown-up daughter of Teresa Guidice recently graduated from high school and is headed to Rutgers University this fall.
Is Teresa freaking out?! Luckily, she’s not—but that’s only because she knows her daughter can return home anytime she wants! “If she needs to come home, it’s not that far,” she told Us, explaining the university is only a 45-minute drive from the family’s Franklin Lakes home. “If I need to go down by her, it’s quick. I’m excited for her. Growing up, I wasn’t allowed to go away to college, so I’m excited for her. I’m happy. I’m proud of her. She’s an amazing kid.”
And the mother-daughter duo are already hard at work decorating Gia’s new abode, with Teresa telling Us they’ve already ordered all of the dorm essentials for her to begin college career. “She’s excited too… It’s her next journey,” Teresa said.
