What Is Dubai’s Al Wasl Road? Lesa Milan Explains Her Shady Comment
The Real Housewives of Dubai cast member explains her dig: “Keep your nose where it belongs, girl, and that’s on Al Wasl Road.”
On the July 20 episode of The Real Housewives of Dubai, Caroline Brooks called Lesa Milan to recap a heated discussion she had with Sara Al Madani over her parenting. After hearing Caroline’s story, Lesa had some shade to throw Sara’s way.
“I like Sara, but she is the queen of giving unsolicited advice,” Lesa said in an interview during the episode. Then she had some advice of her own to dole out: “Keep your nose where it belongs, girl, and that’s on Al Wasl Road.”
Now, we love a good read, but that one left us a little confused at first. Luckily, an off-screen producer had a similar question and asked Lesa, “What’s Al Wasl Road?”
Lesa explained, “Al Wasl Road is where everybody goes to get their plastic surgery in Dubai.”
According to VisitDubai.com, the Al Wasl area offers a lot more as well. “Once a quiet neighborhood made up primarily of residential villas, Al Wasl is now buzzing with some of the city’s most happening hotspots,” the website states. “The flagship attraction here is City Walk on Al Safa Street. Foodies, fashionistas, and families flock to this urban precinct of landscaped boulevards and graffiti-style artwork.”
