Stephanie Hollman Explains Her "Funeral Tea Party" Reunion Look

When it came time to get glammed up for The Real Housewives of Dallas Season 5 reunion, Stephanie Hollman stepped outside of her typical style. 

BravoTV.com caught up with the cast member backstage as makeup artist Priscilla DiStasio and hairstylist Julius Michael put the finishing touches on her gorgeous look. When asked to describe how she felt in her ensemble, Stephanie said, “Like a little girl going to a tea party who has a really good glam squad. Thank you, Julius and Priscilla.” 

“This is my tea party look. Like, funeral tea party, because it’s black and white,” Stephanie said of her intricate black and white lace appliqué Oscar de la Renta dress. “I like the dress, but I don’t love the theme, I’m going to be honest. Why can’t I be fabulous?” 

So what would Stephanie prefer to have worn to the sit-down event? 

“I feel very girly. I would honestly probably rather be in a sequin gown,” she revealed. Still, it sounds as though the glam squad did an incredible job making Stephanie feel gorgeous for the event. When asked to share the inspiration behind her hair and makeup, the ‘Wife explained that she put total trust in the professionals. “Whenever you have talented people working on you, you just let them find the inspiration and make you look good. I do not tell them what to do, they are very good at what they do.” 

Although Stephanie was hoping to serve up a look with a bit more glitz, she's had plenty of opportunities to rock dazzling styles lately. From the photos she's been sharing on Instagram, it's clear she's loving eye-catching black statement pieces these days.
