When Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave invited her fans to ask her anything via Instagram Stories, a few questions naturally centered on food. After all, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal is known for her clean diet and for her willingness to help others meet their health and fitness goals. When you're an accountability coach, that's all in a day's work — as is advising on tricky topics like carbs.

One follower asked Teddi to break down just how she handles carbs in her own eating routine. "Tell us about your carbohydrate intake," the fan wrote. "Do you count your macros?" (Note: Counting macros is the practice of counting macronutrients, including carbohydrates, that you're eating within your calorie budget, and in what ratio. It's pretty detailed stuff!)

Here's what Teddi had to say: "I don't count marcos," she shared. "I [have] oatmeal or Dave's [K]iller Bread for breakfast and I'll have brown rice or quinoa at lunch and no carbs at dinner."
