Teddi Reveals She Got a Birkin as a Push Present: "I Feel Like Such a Douche"
RHOBH's Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave got the super-coveted, mega-expensive handbag from her husband, Edwin, after giving birth to baby Dove.
When it comes to lavish gifts, nothing gets us as excited as a push present because the little token a mom receives after giving birth to her baby has become somewhat famous in the Bravoverse. From Rachel Zoe's jaw-dropping 10-carat diamond ring to Porsha Williams' Rolex after having baby Pilar, the bar has been set pretty high for pricey postpartum presents.
And recently, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave revealed on Instagram Stories that husband Edwin has joined the ranks of generous gift-givers thanks to his push present after Teddi gave birth to her third child, Dove. We have a hunch that Kyle Richards would totally approve.
On April 29, Teddi shared a quick video as she answered fan questions, one of which included, "Did Edwin get you a push present and what was it, when Dove was born?" Teddi, shyly answered, "Edwin got me a Birkin." Yes, Teddi got the super-coveted, mega-expensive, iconic handbag from the French fashion house that will have her fitting right in with her fellow RHOBH Hermés-loving friends.
But it might be a while before Teddi shows us what's inside her Birkin bag, because it is clear that she feels some sort of way about the luxury tote. "I feel like such a douche even saying that. Um, but I mean I don't even know what ready to wear means, so it is what it is."
