Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Debuts a Chic New Lob: See Her Short Haircut
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum made a dramatic hair change and switched up her long locks for a lighter shoulder-grazing 'do.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave has never been afraid to make a bold beauty move. In May 2020, just three months after giving birth to her daughter Dove, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum declared on Instagram: "After having a baby, I always do something drastic with my hair" — and that's exactly what she did. Teddi "thought pink" and highlighted her locks with light bubblegum-colored streaks. Then, in November 2021, Teddi changed up her tresses yet again and "went to the dark side," opting for a chocolate brown shade with subtle blonde highlights. More recently, Teddi's latest hair makeover included a much shorter cut.
On March 28, Teddi took to Instagram to show off her new 'do, courtesy of hairstylist Kim Dow and her assistant Thomas Kowalski. In the video, the fitness buff shared a quick look at her long, honey locks prior to their transformation. Seconds later, Teddi flipped her head upside down and when she came back up, her fresh cut and color were on display: a sharp shoulder-grazing lob with light blonde hues on top and brunette tones underneath.
"We did a thing," Teddi wrote on an Instagram Story, tagging her hairstylist.
Teddi wasn't the only one who revamped her mane. Her daughter Slate and son Cruz also took part in the action. Slate lightened her chestnut locks with bright blonde highlights that framed her face, while Cruz debuted a new blonde faux hawk.
"[Dove] just wasn’t ready to enter her blonde era with the rest of us," Teddi jokingly captioned the video of herself and her two other children showing off their newly lightened tresses. "Ps. How many days until I regret the bob?"
"You won’t regret it! I’m obsessed [with] mine!!" Vanderpump Rules' Scheana Shay responded in the comments. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Sutton Stracke chimed in: "I love it. Fresh!"
