Peek Inside Sutton Stracke's New $5.35M House
The RHOBH cast member gave a new look at her Bel Air abode.
For Sutton Stracke, purchasing a new home was the start of a new chapter. "[I] bought a house, and it's crazy, and I think it really, like, released something in me," Sutton explained to Erika Girardi on the May 26 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. "I mean, [my former] house was symbolic of like my marriage and dependence, and now it's gone."
Sutton explained to Erika that after deciding to sell her Bel Air home, she "looked at a bunch of houses" in Hancock Park that she "loved" but ultimately decided to create her dream home. "It's hard to check all of your boxes off," she said. "So I'm gonna build."
"This is the first time I've ever done anything like this on my own," Sutton added in an interview. "But I'm 49 years old. I'm ready for this."
In October 2020, four months after putting her house on the market for $8.95 million, Sutton revealed she was moving "just around the corner" from her former abode into a new $5.35 million home. While she renovates her new digs, Sutton has been renting Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky's Bel Air house for $20,000 per month. Although the price to rent the home is normally $25,000 per month, Kyle declared on the show's May 19 episode, "There was absolutely a friends and family discount."
