This Is Proof Sutton Stracke Has Been Rocking Couture Since She Was a Kid

It’s no secret that Sutton Stracke absolutely loves fashion. From her closet full of tiaras and exquisite couture (which you can check out in the video above) to the fact that she has attended the Met Gala for a number of years, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer’s interest in the industry obviously goes beyond a penchant for collecting clothing. In fact, Sutton recently revealed just how deep her couture-obsession goes with an adorable throwback photo. 

In a June 17 Instagram post to wish her younger brother a happy birthday, Sutton shared an early photo from her childhood. “Wishing the happiest birthday to my brother: the best brother, father, husband there is! And we survived matching outfits too. So. There’s that!” she captioned the post. 

While many of Sutton’s followers, including RHOBH cast member Kyle Richards, chimed in the comments section to note how adorable she was as a little girl, there was one comment that Sutton had an epic response for. 

“Is that couture?” someone asked, to which Sutton replied, “Well. My grandmother most likely made it. So I’ll go with yes.” 

Although the ruffled plaid and lace number Sutton is rocking in the photo is not exactly the Dolce and Gabbana or Valentino pieces she typically collects these days, it’s not technically incorrect to call the look couture. Merriam-Webster defines couture as “high-end custom-made fashion.” When you consider the fact that the dress was made specifically for Sutton, there are truly no lies detected.
