Lisa Rinna Learned How to Do Makeup from Watching Drag Queens
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member "learned a lot from drag queens" to create her "classic smoky eye and Lisa Rinna lip."
Lisa Rinna might be hard at work on her new line of lip kits, but that doesn't mean she can't take a little time to spill her beauty secrets. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member shared a fun-loving clip on Instagram as she walked followers through her go-to makeup routine and she revealed that she's learned the most by watching RuPaul.
On November 19, Lisa cheerfully started her "quick and easy makeup routine" that included her "classic smokey eye and Lisa Rinna lip." Though her skin was glowing from the start, Lisa showed how she gets dolled up for the day and her fiercest tips came from a fabulous source.
"I've been taught a little contouring... doesn't hurt anybody," she mused while applying a KKW beauty product. "And I've been taught how to contour that nose, which you know I've learned a lot from... drag queens." Same, Lisa. Same.
"Some of the greatest drag queens of all time do some of the best makeup ever. And I'll tell you, by watching RuPaul's Drag Race, I have learned a lot," she said in-between applications.
"So you put on your contouring, put on your concealer, and then you get your powder and put a whole bunch under here," she explained as she patted product under her eye, "and they call that baking!"
Her finished look was effortless, natural, and, as always, totally fab. "I love baking I think more than anything...and I'm not talking cake and I love cake!"
