Kyle Richards Is Not Happy with Mauricio Umansky's New Mohawk Haircut
Even Lisa Rinna and Paul "PK" Kemsley weighed in on the hilariously controversial hairstyle.
Self-quarantine has certainly lead people all over the world to experiment with at-home beauty treatments, including the Umansky family. From coloring her own hair to struggling with self-tanner, Kyle Richards’ home has essentially become a beauty salon. Of course, that’s not to say that everything goes seamlessly; The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member is definitely not feeling her husband Mauricio Umansky’s DIY haircut.
In a series of hilarious Instagram Stories, Kyle revealed that Mauricio had given himself a new hairstyle; the “MoeHawk.”
“My husband has not cut his the entire quarantine, and I just found all of this,” Kyle laughed as she panned the camera over a pile of Mauricio’s hair in the bathroom. “Oh my god. I have to see this hair.”
Kyle then went looking for Mauricio through the house. “What have you done to yourself? Are you kidding me?!” she asked when she saw his new mohawk.
“I gave myself a mohawk. I put the ‘Moe’ in to mohawk,” Mauricio proudly explained.
Hours later, Kyle shared an update to show that Mauricio was still rocking the haircut, as well as a temporary tattoo from their daughter Portia. Although she was adamant that it was time to get rid of both, Mauricio seemed pretty set on keeping them.
Even Dorit Kemsley’s husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley weighed in on the new look. He uploaded a side by side photo of both men, writing, “So here are two househusbands, one is super poplar, consistently voted hottest husband, has weathered the show now for many years, the other is Mauritzio.”
“You are funny PK,” commented Lisa Rinna.
Eventually, Mauricio did chop off the top of the now infamous “Moehawk.” Although Kyle is surely glad to see it go, the haircut did have a pretty legendary run.
