There Was a Messy Mother's Day Fail at Kyle Richards' House

Kyle Richards' kids meant well. But, when they set out to help their mom around the house on Mother's Day, things didn't quite go as planned.

How to Watch

On May 10, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills OG took to Instagram Stories to share the current situation in her dishwasher. It looked like the dishes were at a rowdy foam party, with piles of frothy white bubbles spilling out.

"This is what happens when your kids try to help you on Mother's Day," Kyle said, breaking into a laugh. It sounds like Dad got a kick out of the sudsy mishap too: In the background, we can hear Mauricio Umansky's signature laugh.

It appears that the rest of the day went a bit more smoothly. Kyle's daughters Farrah and Alexia both shared Instagram Stories of the family's pool day in Palm Springs. With chill music playing and the sun shining, the swim party looked a bit more chill than washing — or rewashing — these dishes:

And help around the house wasn't the only gift Kyle got. In an Instagram post, Alexia shared a photo of a heartstring-tugging poem she'd written and framed for her mom. In her caption, she wrote: "I worked on this for 14 hours, all for my mother ... [Kyle Richards] I hope you always know how loved you are by not only me, but by so many others too."
