There’s a Reason Kyle Richards Put Kathy Hilton in the Bunk Bed Room in Aspen
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member explained the surprising room she assigned to her sister during the group trip to Colorado.
When Kathy Hilton arrived at Kyle Richards’ Aspen vacation home on the August 31 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, many viewers were surprised to see that Kyle gave Kathy a bedroom with bunk beds. However, Kathy didn’t seem to mind. “I kinda like this,” she said as she tested out one of the beds. “I’m fine here.”
Although Kyle explained during the episode that, according to her daughter Alexia Umansky, the bunk beds are the “most comfortable beds in the house,” she shared more about why she chose that room for Kathy during the September 7 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “She was in the bunk beds because she likes to sleep late, and she asked me in advance for the quietest room,” Kyle said. “And that’s the quietest room in the house.”
Ultimately, Kathy was happy with the sleeping arrangement. “I’m very comfortable,” she said on the show’s September 7 episode, after Kyle came to wake her up just before noon. “I had a great rest.”
The group trip marked the first time Kathy stayed in the room — or in the house at all, for that matter. “I’ve only had this house for three years. This is the first time I invited her,” Kyle explained in an interview during the August 31 episode. With a laugh, she added, “I mean, it’s not like it’s a big house. She can afford a hotel.”
