We Need to Talk About Kathy Hilton's Outrageous Tablescape
RHOBH's Kyle Richards said her sister created "the most unattractive table."
When it comes to entertaining, Kyle Richards once declared, "Nobody does it like my sister Kathy." However, on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' July 21 episode, Kyle had a very different opinion about Kathy Hilton's skills.
As Kyle prepared dinner at her La Quinta house for Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Dorit Kemsley, and Sutton Stracke, Kathy was tasked with setting the table. While Kathy has transformed her own home for lavish tea parties and over-the-top birthday celebrations, she put in slightly less effort when it came to creating a beautiful tablescape for Kyle's meal.
Lisa and Erika laughed hysterically as they surveyed the table, topped with a "lemon for a paperweight," as Erika described it, and a basket of stale bread, which Kathy put out as a prank because "It's always good to laugh."
"This is my sister helping me," Kyle said. "Imagine you go to Kathy Hilton's house, do you think she would set her table like this?"
She concluded: "This is like the most unattractive table I've ever done."
Whether it's a lavish holiday gathering or a birthday celebration at home, Kyle is known for hosting meals with incredibly gorgeous table settings. During one fancy dinner with her family, Kyle went all out and topped her table with butterfly-print china, luxe wine glasses, and chic napkin holders. Kyle's oldest daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, was blown away by the setup, calling Kyle the "hostess with the mostest."
