Delilah Belle Hamlin Shows Her "Amazing" Results After Using Accutane
Lisa Rinna's model daughter shares a personal look at her struggle with acne.
Like mom Lisa Rinna, Delilah Belle Hamlin shows her skin plenty of TLC. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter and model conjured up a daily skincare routine made to keep her complexion looking luminous and refreshed. However, even with a regimen full of must-try products, Delilah still encounters some tricky skin struggles like acne.
During a recent Q&A session on Instagram, Delilah got real about her history with acne and the treatment that has been helping her skin clear up: Accutane, which is the brand name of a drug called isotretinoin (a vitamin A-derivative).
In response to a fan who asked if she is still using the acne medication, Delilah shared a recent selfie captioned, "Yess I'm still on it and honestly my skin is amazing." However, she also revealed an apparent side effect of the treatment. "My lips are SO ANNOYING. They're constantly chapped," she added.
To get a better idea of her progress, Delilah also posted a photo of what her skin looked like before the treatment. "This was also covered up a bit," she noted.
In August, Delilah's sister, Amelia Gray Hamlin, also opened up about her own experience dealing with body acne. "I was so self-conscious. I would literally cry myself to sleep. Like when I say bumps, I literally mean like, thousands of bumps down my back, down my chest," she said during the August 25 episode of Dear Media’s The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast.
Amelia then revealed that after a few doctor's visits, she came across a product that helped: Nécessaire The Body Wash. "It cleared my whole entire skin. I always praised them, like, I don’t know what’s in your body wash, or what’s not in it, but it literally changed my life," she said.
