We’re Obsessed with the Dark Walls in Kyle Richards’ Sitting Room
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom has created the perfect cozy den.
It is no surprise that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom Kyle Richards knows the hottest trend of the season: dark walls!
We here at BravoTV.com spied her dimly colored walls in a recent Instagram post. While the shade isn't a pure black — we're guessing it's a wrought iron gray or dark pewter (clue us in, Kyle!) — we’re going to say we love it.
The dark hue goes very well with Kyle’s cozy den, which is full of clubby furniture like her brown leather wingback chair, buttery velvet couch, and plush leopard-print ottoman, not to mention the roaring fire. And those dark walls provide a perfect example of two major design tricks: one, it makes the white marble fireplace mantle dramatically stand out and two, (we love this one) the dark walls actually have the effect of hiding the TV when it’s off.
Because as much as we love our binges, having a TV prominently featured in a beautifully designed room can really be a bummer, right?
Kyle captioned her cozy post by saying, “I love a rainy day.” We could not agree more, and with that fire going she’s got the ideal place to chill. Santa seems happy, too!
