Here’s Why Tommy Hilfiger x Gigi Hadid Won’t be Presenting at NYFW
The fashion duo is taking their presentation overseas.
New York Fashion Week Spring 2018 is underway, but there’s one highly anticipated presentation that won’t be hitting the city that never sleeps this season: Tommy Hilfiger x Gigi Hadid.
Instead of revealing their see-now-buy-now AW17 collection during NYFW as they did last fall, Tommy Hilfiger and Gigi Hadid have decided to take their big show overseas. This season, the popular runway show will take place on September 19th at 7pm, closing out London Fashion Week.
This isn’t the first time the stylish duo has switched locations to present TommyxGigi. This past spring, Hilfiger and Hadid took their Spring 2017 presentation to Los Angeles, California. The Tommyland event drew out stars like Lady Gaga, and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills momma Lisa Rinna attended with her daughters Delilah Bele (who walked in TommyxGigi's first presentation) and Amelia Gray.
While we'll have to wait a few more days to get a peak at the entire collection, the brand has dropped a few sneak peeks at the supermodel's latest designs, and she did not dissappoint. The collection gives off on-trend grunge '90s vibes with fall-friendly pieces, including graphics tees, creeper shoes, and a must-have plaid silk dress.
