Tanya Sam Shows the Hilarious Reality of Trying to Wear Makeup Under a Face Mask
The Real Housewives of Atlanta pal is all of us struggling to keep our makeup on point while wearing a face mask.
Like many of us, Tanya Sam has come across a modern-day beauty struggle: trying to keep our makeup on point while wearing a face mask. So how exactly does one keep the glam on point while wearing a mask to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19)? The Real Housewives of Atlanta pal is still trying to master her technique.
Tanya, whose signature beauty look is often topped with a bold red lip, recently had a bit of a makeup mishap. In a photo posted by Tanya on June 25, the fashionista's glowing foundation, rosy cheeks, and neutral eye makeup appeared flawless, however, her lipstick was a different story: Tanya's lip color ended up all over her chin.
"You should see the inside of my mask," she quipped. "How are you ladies managing wearing lipstick under masks? This was supposed to be a lipstain," she added along with a facepalm emoji.
In the comments section, many followers related to Tanya's lipstick struggle, including Porsha Williams' sister, Lauren Williams. "My masks are stained too lol," she wrote. While several followers wrote they had traded in their lipstick for chapstick months ago, a few IG users shared some solutions with Tanya. One fan suggested opting for a clear face shield instead of a cloth mask. Another follower wrote, "Blot your lips on paper towel. You can also place a piece of paper towel on your lips and pat powder over it using a powder brush to lock in the lippie as much as possible."
Hey, we're all just doing our best.
