Shamari DeVoe Proves She Can Still Bring It in Her Clovers Cheer Uniform 20 Years Later
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum staged an epic photo shoot for the 20-year anniversary of her iconic film role.
In 2000, Shamari DeVoe starred in a cheerleading movie that has since gained pop culture icon status: Bring It On. Recently, the film celebrated its 20th anniversary (yeah, we suddenly feel old too), and as one of the main cheerleaders from the East Compton Clovers, Shamari had to celebrate this major milestone — and she did it in the most epic way.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum dug into her closet and pulled out her original Clovers cheerleading uniform from the film, which apparently still fits her like a glove. Shamari had a full-blown photo shoot in honor of the film's anniversary in which she she sported the legendary green, yellow, and orange cheerleading uniform. Shamari's fellow OG Clover and Blaque groupmate, Brandi Williams, also joined in for the nostalgic photo shoot.
Two decades may have passed since Shamari last busted out a cheer with the East Compton Clovers, but she still looks just as incredible in her original gear.
"20 years later and being able to co-star in #BringItOn as one of the Clovers has me reliving so many memories from filming! So, I thought why not pull out the old cheerleading outfit to really celebrate the 20th Anniversary!?" she wrote on Instagram.
"The fact that you can still fit it!" Kandi Burruss commented on her Instagram post. Shamea Morton added, "Like fine wine, gets better with time."
Not only can Shamari still rock her Clovers uniform like it's 2000, but she still remembers that legendary cheer. Check out the clip above to see Shamari serve it up Clovers style.
