Porsha Williams Dazzles in a Long-Sleeve Jade Green Gala Gown
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum donned a stunning embellished gown for a special cause.
Porsha Williams definitely knows how to turn up the glam. Earlier in September, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum showed off a curve-hugging, peach-hued satin dress, which she complemented with sleek straight hair and a blue floral headband.
Over the weekend, the Pampered by Porsha entrepreneur attended a gala benefiting the nonprofit organization Street Dreamz, which provides assistance to underserved communities. She opted for a stunning jade green gown with long sleeves, a high neckline, and dark green embellishments around the shoulders. Porsha paired the formfitting look with dazzling emerald drop earrings and matching colored eyeshadow, and wore her hair long and curled.
“What a joy it is to give back and be a blessing to others!” Porsha captioned a snapshot of herself with fiancé Simon Guobadia, Jeannie Mai Jenkins, and rapper Jeezy. “Honored to join The Street Dreamz Foundation at the Annual 2nd Sno Ball Gala.”
On October 2, Porsha shared on her Instagram an additional carousel of photos taken with Simon in front of a black car and from the event’s red carpet. In the pics, the Pursuit of Porsha author can be seen showing off her green-bottomed high heels with a clear strap by Jessica Rich and holding hands with her hubby-to-be, who donned a classic black tuxedo for the occasion.
Porsha and Simon are gearing up for their nuptials after confirming their engagement in May 2021. Earlier this year, the GoNaked Hair founder shared in an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider that she and her beau still had “so much to plan.” In August, however, she may have dropped a big hint about their wedding date.
“Looking for tailors to make Nigerian Asoebi here in Atlanta before October,” Porsha captioned a series of photos at the time, depicting the traditional family wedding uniform from Simon’s native country.
One detail Porsha already took care of several months ago, however, was selecting her bridesmaids, including her sister, Lauren Williams, and RHOA’s Shamea Morton, among others. “Yesterday I asked a couple of my sisters to be bridesmaids!!” she captioned an April 25 Instagram post. “They said yes and we partied all day.”
