Porsha Williams' "hair journey" has taken an unexpected turn. For some context, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum is the co-founder of Go Naked Hair. The brand offers luxurious wigs, tape-in hair extensions, and mink lashes, and as such, it's not uncommon to see the Atlanta mama rocking a long, lush hairstyle.
For example, she recently paired a flowing Go Naked wig with a sheer, sparkling black dress, and used her caption to hype up her "HAIRRR." However, Porsha's latest coif has taken her to new lengths.
In a recent Instagram share, the beauty entrepreneur showed a look at her latest style while playing around with a Snapchat filter that gave her red lips and oversized sunglasses. Her dark hair was uber short and swept to the side, and in her caption she explained why it was styled as such. "This is why people with short hair end up cutting it while tryna grow it!" she wrote in her caption. She added: "I’m looking like any mom from the 90’s movies."

Porsha included the phrase "trust the process!" and then gave a hint about what her next style will be. "Bob loading" she wrote in a hashtag, adding another one that spelled out "hair journey."
In the video, Porsha did her best impression of a mom telling her kid to get in the car — but her bestie Shamea Morton had a different interpretation of the playful character. "That sexy mean school teacher that spiked her coffee," she wrote.

Let the record show: Porsha has rocked a gorgeous bob before. In 2020, PJ's mama shared a clip of herself rocking a short, wavy hairstyle. The cropped look, created by hairstylist Taneisha Turnage, fell just below Porsha's chin. It had face-framing layers that perfectly complemented her face shape, and Porsha paired it with a luminous makeup look.
That same year, she showed off an even shorter hairstyle. In an Instagram post, Porsha shared a selfie that showcased a closely cropped pixie cut. Her freshly chopped hair was styled with a sleek side part, and she paired the new 'do with a blinged-out, gray leather jacket, oversized diamond hoop earrings, and a glam beauty beat with clear glossy lips and next-level lashes.
