Porsha Williams Looked Like a Princess in Her 2 Jaw-Dropping Wedding Gowns
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum’s nuptials, which included a Nigerian ceremony and an American wedding on separate days, was a “true fashion extravaganza.”
It’s official! Porsha Williams and Simon Guobadia tied the knot over the weekend (twice!), and The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum was nothing short of stunning in the two bridal looks she wore for the occasion.
“It’s going to be a true fashion extravaganza,” Porsha told People, which shared exclusive photos of the wedding. “I just couldn’t turn any dresses down! If a wedding dress came my way and I loved it, I got it.”
On November 25, the pair first celebrated their union with a Nigerian native law and custom ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta. They both wore traditional Nigerian garb, with Simon in white Benin attire from bespoke tailor Deji & Kola and Porsha in a custom crimson gown from luxury bridal designer Lakimmy. The strapless, structured dress was made of a dazzling velvet fabric and fitted at the bodice, splaying out at the bottom with numerous feather features. The right side of the bodice was embroidered with several gold coins and chains, while both the bride and groom also rocked traditional orange beads from Kishly.
Porsha also credited Benin Hair & Corals for her hair wrap, Keoandra Coleman for her updo, and Tomilola of Biggles for her glowing, smoky makeup.
The glamour didn’t stop there, however, as Porsha went on to share more photos from her second ceremony on November 26, where she looked like a literal princess in a custom white gown, crown, and veil by Frida Xhoi Xhei. Simon also echoed royalty in his navy military-style suit by Deji & Kola.
Porsha’s second dress was a ball gown with a massive skirt, structured corset, romantic off-the-shoulder sleeves, feather and floral details, and gorgeous beading and embroidery covering the tulle overlay of the skirt. She wore stunning, sparkling earrings from House of Emmanuele and topped off the look with long, light pink nails.
“Thank you to my HUSBAND [Simon] for our magical Fairytale Wedding! I will love you now and forverrrrrrr! Till death and even then we will never part lol,” the Pursuit of Porsha author captioned her Instagram post, adding the celebratory hashtag “We did it again.”
