Kandi Burruss Has Plans for an Incredible Thanksgiving Menu
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member is planning to cook a mouthwatering holiday meal.
Kandi Burruss is ready for an incredible Thanksgiving meal with her family — just as soon as she figures out what to cook.
“What should I cook for Thanksgiving? I don’t know," The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member pondered in an Instagram video, noting that she initially considered hiring someone to cook the meal. "I was like, 'No, maybe I’ll just go ahead and cook Thanksgiving myself this year.'"
Now that she's committed to cooking, Kandi is brainstorming the menu for the day with a mouthwatering variety of foods. "Some mac and cheese," she suggested. "Broccoli and rice casserole with little chunks of chicken in it, maybe make some sweet potato pies, maybe make some cream cheese pound cake, maybe make some dressing."
However, there is one thing Kandi won't be making herself this year. “I always like to buy my ham from the Honey Baked Ham [Company,]” she explained. "I know some people love to make their own ham, which, I like that too, but I just prefer to just buy it."
While The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Gizelle Bryant commented that the potential menu "all sounds delicious," Kandi is still considering additions for the meal. “I think I want to try something new, though. What else should I try? One thing new that I could try to make for Thanksgiving dinner," she said in the video. "My family, they cook everything, so I can always get my mama or my aunts to make something."
Shortly after posting the video, Kandi began taking her followers' many suggestions into consideration. As she declared, "I make a really good squash casserole," in response to someone who recommended the dish, she joked with another commenter who shared a full list of ideas ranging from curry goat to honey-glazed salmon, "I'm coming to your house because your menu sounds good!"
