Kandi & Riley Burruss Each Put Their Own Take on a Matching Set on the Red Carpet
While The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member went with a silky green bustier top, blazer, and pants, her daughter picked a Balmain cardigan, crop top, and miniskirt.
Kandi Burruss and her daughter Riley have been slaying on the style front together as of late, and we’ve been more than happy to document their marvelous moves.
The mother-daughter duo most recently took their fashion game to the 54th Annual NAACP Image Awards (set to air on February 25), posing on the red carpet in fashion-forward looks. In an Instagram photo shared on February 12, Riley could be seen showing off her playfully chic style in a black-and-white Balmain monogram miniskirt ($1,250) and matching cardigan ($2,795), pairing the outfit with black combat boots, long green nails, and deep auburn locks.
Kandi, for her part, wore an elegant, sexy green satin blazer, pants, and bustier top. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member completed her outfit with numerous gold accessories, strappy gold heels, and a high ponytail.
In addition to the NAACP Image Awards, Riley also joined her mom for the Clive Davis pre-Grammy Gala, which took place on February 4 at the Beverly Hilton. Before heading into the event, the pair shut down the red carpet in coordinated black gowns and ravishing hairstyles.
Kandi’s sultry black dress included feather-embellished sleeves and a sheer-panel front. She paired the look with a sleek high ponytail, diamond drop earrings, and classic red lips. Riley also emulated classic glamour with a strapless black sheath, black mules, and a black Prada bag, finishing off her outfit with a diamond necklace.
Though Kandi stayed busy working the red carpet at the Grammy Awards, which took place on February 5, she was sure to snap a few photos with her daughter.
“[I]conic weekend with iconic people,” the college student captioned a series of February 7 Instagram photos, in which she posed with stars including Laverne Cox, L.L. Cool J, and of course, her lovely mother.
While Kandi wore a long-sleeved knit cerulean gown by Raisa Vanessa ($2,626) for the night, Riley again rocked Balmain, donning a black-and-white striped tweed minidress flecked with gold embellishments and a gold-tone chain around the neck ($1,197) — a look she may have borrowed from her mom’s closet!
