Kandi Burruss Shares a Stunning Photo of Herself at Age 17
The Real Housewives of Atlanta hit maker proved she hasn't aged since she got her first gold record as a high school senior.
We all know Kandi Burruss as the badass, record-making, chart-topping, contest-winning beauty that she is today. But did you realize that The Real Housewives of Atlanta musician has basically been a stunning over-achiever since her high school days? In a recent Instagram post, Kandi shared a look back at her senior year of high school where the Southern cutie posed alongside something a little better than your average participation trophy.
"A throwback to me being excited about my first gold plaque for our first #Xscape album," Kandi shared on her feed on November 12. In the sweet snap, we see a smiling Kandi with a casual, straight, shoulder-length bob holding a massive plaque that is almost as big as she is. "17yrs old in the 12 grade selling records with my girls Xscape! Those were some amazing memories," she added.
Beyond the fact that Kandi has been accustomed to holding gold records since she was in her teens, we can't quite get over the fact that Kandi looks the exact same today! The Atlanta multi-hyphenate is practically ageless down to her bright smile and bold, red lip shade.
Another thing that hasn't changed one bit since Kandi's high school days — her nonstop success. "That album went on to sell platinum," she concluded and we aren't at all surprised.
