Cynthia Bailey Got “Creative” When Dressing for a Baby Shower and the Result Was Fabulous
The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum rocked an unexpected ensemble for Shamea Morton’s baby shower.
Cynthia Bailey always understands the assignment when it comes to fashion, and Shamea Morton’s baby shower was no exception.
“[H]ad to find something pink in my closet to wear to my girl [Shamea’s] baby shower today!” The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum captioned a February 12 Instagram post of herself rocking a unique outfit with numerous pink accessories for the occasion. “[W]ell, [I] tried to be creative [and] was pretty happy with my look. [W]hat y’all think?”
While many fans (and Married to Medicine’s Quad Webb) commented with their approval, we also have to commend Cynthia for her “creative” sartorial sense, pairing a sleek white turtleneck jumpsuit with an edgy leather jacket and then adding a pink, black, and white patterned scarf, strappy pink heels, and a pink “Bailey Mini Bag” by NILA ($340). The model also wore a high braided bun and gorgeous smoky glam for a chic touch.
Cynthia’s former RHOA castmate Kandi Burruss also took to social media to share some behind-the-scenes details from the event, first documenting Shamea (who rocked a stunning sparkly silver-and-cream cutout dress) getting teary-eyed as she thanked friends and family for the occasion.
Lots of pink details could be seen in the February 12 Instagram Stories, including a plethora of balloons in different shades of pink (and white), pink velvet couches and chairs, and a vase of pink roses.
Kandi also shared a photo taken with Shamea’s surrogate, who wore a one-shoulder long-sleeved hot pink minidress, while Kandi donned a similarly colored pink turtleneck sweater and jeans.
Both Cynthia and Kandi recently celebrated another fun event (although not together): the Grammys.
While Kandi attended the show in a long-sleeved cutout blue gown, Cynthia partied with her girlfriends in a sleek fitted strapless black dress paired with large silver hoop earrings and her long raven-colored waves.
“When [you] go back 30 years together!” Cynthia captioned a February 6 Instagram post of herself with the ladies, adding a “Grammy weekend” hashtag and “Grammys” geo tag.
