Porsha Williams Unapologetically Displays Her Mom Bod a Cage Bikini
The Real Housewives of Atlanta beauty says, "we should be able to bask in motherhood and let our bodies naturally heal and evolve."
Porsha Williams is unofficially becoming a champion for new moms everywhere and we are absolutely here for every single refreshingly honest word that she has to share. Since giving birth to her baby Pilar Jhena McKinley, The Real Housewives of Atlanta beauty has taken to Instagram multiple times to reveal everything from dispelling unrealistic expectations for postpartum bodies to the realities of new mom hair loss — and we couldn't be more grateful.
In a recent Instagram post, Porsha continued her postpartum fashion parade in a slinky, black bikini with a super empowering message on the side. On August 16, Porsha shared a pick wearing a black bikini that featured sexy cutouts and a teeny, ruffle string bikini bottom. The Atlanta stunner topped her look off with a leopard print, knotted headband and an uber high topknot that paired well with her sultry smokey eye and gold hoop earrings. In true Porsha fashion, Baby Pilar was dressed to impress as well in a Burberry print one-piece (meep!) and petite hair accessories. But all of that cuteness wasn't enough to keep away Internet trolls.
In the post, Porsha addressed a negative comment telling her to "cover up" until she sheds more weight — and sis went off in the best way.
Porsha came back with a truly inspiring message.
"Moms are badass don’t let anyone tell you different ? Ps: It’s just weird I actually get this a lot. I think social media has altered people’s perception of what moms look like. A lot of moms tell me how they get under handed compliments or jokes about their weight and it really affects them in a negative way. I just feel like we should be able to bask in motherhood and let our bodies naturally heal and evolve. Like for me I had Pj 4 months ago and I just don’t feel ready to workout. The snap back culture has put pressure on most moms so they end up feeling insecure about what their body is naturally doing and looks like. Ion know call me weird but I actually adore my lil marks and feel like it’s a lil badge of honor as all moms should??♀️❤️ I just want to use myself to encourage fellow mommies ?".
You are a queen, Porsha.
