NeNe Leakes Claps Back at Haters Who Age-Shamed Her for Wearing a Naked Dress

Tuesday afternoon, NeNe Leakes modeled a daring see-through dress from her storefront, Swagg Boutique, on Instagram. While this is not the first time The Real Housewives of Atlanta fashionista has shown off her goodies on IG, the new ensemble drew in a few negative comments. However, being the clap back queen that she is, NeNe quickly shut down the haters.

The dress in question is a mesh black curve-hugging dress with bell sleeves. "NOTE: wear a black bra or tank! I just go bare because when your an elder, ain’t nobody looking no ways right," she humorously captioned the image.

Here is NeNe working the dress — and fiercely, if we may add.

Although the image has since gained over 76K likes, some people felt the need to age-shame the fabulous Real Housewife, claiming that the dress was not "appropriate for someone of her age." *Eyeroll.*   

"Why can’t she embrace her age!" wrote one user.

In response to this comment, NeNe wrote, "I’m very comfortable in the skin I'm in, which is why I’m letting you see it. Umm do you make these comments on Kim K’s page?"

Of course, it wasn’t all hate. NeNe’s IG post was also flooded with positive comments, including a fire emoji posted by new RHOA member Eva Marcille. Andy Cohen is also a fan of her bold look. 

Moral of the story: don’t come for Miss NeNe.
