Cynthia Bailey Says THIS is The Key to Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner's Modeling Success
The industry has changed since Cynthia Bailey was walking runways.
These days, Cynthia Bailey is busy designing her own eyewear line. But, it wasn't long ago that she was modeling styles for other designers. And, as the founder of the Bailey Agency School of Fashion, The Real Housewives of Atlanta fashion also helps aspiring models nail their struts and build impressive portfolios of their own.
So, what does she think of the industry's current stars? "I think in terms of the modeling industry today with the Gigis and the [Kendalls], it's just a different world," Cynthia told The Lookbook. "It's very different from when I was coming up. Social media wasn't around when I was coming up. The industry has just changed a lot." But, one requirement for being a model has remained the same: Cynthia added that both Kendall and Gigi are "beautiful girls," and also have intriguing personalities. "I really feel like at this point, it's personality [that makes a model successful]," she added. "If you're an influencer... there's a lot of different opportunities."
