Get a Closer Look at Melissa Gorga's Glammed-Up, Blinged-Out Birthday Cake

There were two things to celebrate during the November 7 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jesery. First, it marked the premiere of Season 9, which we've been hotly anticipating, of course. And next, one of our favorite Jersey ladies celebrated her birthday on the episode, which let us ogle a brand new fabulous cake from the Jersey 'Wives. They do have a reputation for over-the-top treats to uphold, after all. 

To fete Melissa Gorga on her birthday, her friends and family gathered at New Jersey's Rails Steakhouse, where there was plenty of sweetness to be had. In the clip above, the birthday girl squeals, "It's so pretty" when servers wheel out her massive three-tiered birthday cake — and it's pretty indeed! Frosted in silver and decked with sparkles and flowers, the dessert is fabulous and feminine — and ready to be thrown. 

During her ever-so-slightly tipsy toast, Melissa referenced last year's cake fight in Boca. (Check it out here.) Though there was some argument then about whether it's proper to send slices of cake flying across the room, Melissa was all for it at her Jersey bash. "Guess what?" she yelled. "If anyone wants to throw this mother f--king cake, you throw it!"
