Camille Grammer Sees Herself and Kelsey Grammer in Yolanda Hadid and David Foster
She has an "eerie feeling" while watching the couple on #RHOBH.
Yolanda Hadid and David Foster haven't been their usual happy and loving couple on this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Of course, we now know that in just a couple of months, Yolanda and David would announce their plans to divorce each other.
Tuesday night's episode of RHOBH may have showed the beginning of the end for the couple as David was overheard wondering how his relationship with Yolanda could ever get back to normal, given her battle with Lyme disease, during the ladies' trip to New York. It was definitely an uncomfortable moment to watch, especially for Camille Grammer. "Watching David with [sic] Yolonda in NY gives me that same eerie feeling I had when I watched my ex husband on #RHOBH season 1," she tweeted Tuesday.
That incredibly awkward and tense moment during Season 1 of RHOBH when Camille visited Kelsey backstage in his dressing room after the opening of his Broadway show, La Cage Aux Folles, has gone down as one of the most infamous in Housewives history. It seemed as if Kelsey couldn't wait for Camille to leave the room. Later on in Season 1, we saw Camille deal with the pain of finding out about Kelsey's extramarital affair.
It wouldn't be long before Camille filed for divorce from Kelsey in July 2010 after nearly 13 years of marriage. This news came shortly before the RHOBH series premiere, so just like Yolanda and David, we watched Camille and Kelsey interact onscreen knowing that their marriage had already ended.
Yolanda addressed her emotional moment with David during Tuesday night's episode in her latest Bravotv.com blog. "Yes, there were mixed emotions while watching tonight's episode. A divorce, regardless of how it happens, is still the closing of the chapter, a separation from your life partner. We can't help but feel the loss and wonder when and how things went wrong," she wrote. "Long-term illness brings challenging hurdles to a home, a family and a marriage. It affects many lives, but I have to believe we've all done the best we can. Rather [sic] then getting stuck on what went wrong, I choose to focus on what was right and cherish the many great memories we shared."
Camille returned to RHOBH during Tuesday night's episode as the host of a charity event to support the Foundation for Women's Cancer. Relive this not-so-charitable moment between Yolanda and Lisa Rinna at the fete, below.
